Singh, G. G. Singh, Born on 15th December 1961 at village Chainpur, Dist. Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, India, the author has completed his ‘Master of Science’ and Doctor of Philosophy’ from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP, India in 1984 and 1989, respectively. While working in the areas of sandy terrain management and sand drift control; water relation of tree plantations; wastewater utilization and mineral nutrition for dry land productivity; tree-vegetation interaction and tree integration in agricultural land; resource conservation and restoration of degraded land/ hills; and carbon budgeting of forests and soils at Arid Forest Research Institute (AFRI), Jodhpur, India since last 23 years, the author has completed 19 projects of varying sizes, published more than 180 papers in journal of national/international repute and book chapters.
